Welcome to a true journey of a lifetime.
Over the course of 11 days, we'll cross the legendary Drake Passage, go on 2x daily excursions, learn about the continent's diverse wildlife, plunge into ice-cold waters (for those who dare), visit many islands, and participate in mastermind dinners, before making our way back to South America.
Explore the Antarctic while you transform your life
Our first Antarctic expedition brought together ambitious entrepreneurs in one of the world's most stunning locations. Participants left with powerful connections and unforgettable memories. See for yourself what makes this journey unique.
AN 11 DAY JOURNEY
Combine adventure with growth. Make friends for life.
You’ll get to spend a lot of time on land and share unique adventures with a smaller and highly curated crowd of entrepreneurs and other remote workers. We'll explore the incredible islands during the day and engage in meaningful conversations in the evenings about business, relationships, and living our best lives. Only one boat at a time is allowed to land in Antarctica so we'll have the whole place to ourselves - to explore, reflect, and connect.

Got questions about the trip?
Can I join if I’m on my own?
We highly encourage you to join if you’re on your own as you’ll feel more open to connect with others who are in the same boat (pun intended).
Will there be huge waves?
You don’t have to worry about those 20-meter waves you might have seen on social media. Cruise ships are equipped with incredible stabiliser systems and go through calm passages, constantly monitoring the weather. You’ll barely feel the ship move, except on our cruise to Antarctica where we’ll pass the famous Drake Passage that’s usually quite rough. But that’s part of the Antarctica experience.
So many days on a ship... does that not get boring?
You mean with all the workshops, talks, meet-ups, masterminds, acrobatics, meals together, chilling by the pool, meditating in the sunrise, listening to impromptu jam sessions, starting new businesses, exploring islands? Well…No! Time goes by too quickly on the cruise!
I get really seasick. Can I still join?
You’ll barely feel the ship sway. If you do tend to get seasick or this is your first time at sea, we recommend you to bring motion sickness medication, just in case.
Can I share a cabin with other participants?
We do offer shared cabins with another Nomad Cruise participant. Each cabin can have a setup with two separate beds. By providing shared cabins, we can get more people on board, you can save some bucks on your ticket, plus you’ll have a friend from the very first day. You can either make a suggestion of who you would like to share your cabin with or we will choose another lovely participant of the same sex for yo
Can I bring my kids?
Yes it’s possible to bring your kids but only recommended if they are at least 8 years old. Children between 8-15 get a discount if they join in a shared cabin with two other pax. Please email us for additonal info at info@nomadcruise.com.
What is included in the ticket?
- Voyage as indicated in the itinerary
- All meals aboard the ship including snacks, coffee and tea.
- Program of lectures by noted naturalists and leadership by experienced expedition staff.
- Nomad Cruise Program & Invitation to Reunions
- All service taxes and port charges.
What is not included in the ticket?
- Baggage, cancellation and compulsory travel insurance.
- Laundry, bar, beverage charges and telecommunication charges.
- Tips at the end of the voyages for stewards and other service personnel aboard.
When should I arrive in Ushuaia?
We recommend arriving 2 days in advance (30th January) so you can already meet and connect with the other participants. If that’s too early for you, please plan to be there the latest on the 31st January to make sure you have some buffer in case anything goes south with your itinerary. We will also share some hotel recommendations as we get closer to the trip.
Do you have a refund policy?
If for some reason you can’t make it on the cruise, you can cancel your ticket by simply sending an email to info@nomadcruise.com.

The following conditions apply to cancellations and booking changes for the trip:

> 60 Days: Deposit is held as cancellation

60 – 30 Days: 33% of the tour price is held as cancellation

29 – 19 Days: 67% of the tour price is held as cancellation

18 – 0 Days: 100% of the tour price is held as cancellation

Tickets are not for resale.
Which cruise line and ship are we going on?
MS Ortelius will be our home away from home for these 11 days, operated by Oceanwide Expeditions.
Is there Wi-Fi on board?
There are facilities on board to send emails and make calls via satellite connection, All costs for internet, email, or the use of the onboard cellular network (if available) are at your own expense. It’s better to be prepared for a very slow connection and take a holiday for the duration of the trip.
What currency is used on board?
The currency used aboard the ship is the Euro, but you can also pay with USD.
What is the weather like in the Antarctic Peninsula?
During February, which is summertime, you can expect an average temperature of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius (33.8 to 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit), with some rain on occasion.
What type of clothing should I bring for the expedition cruise?
For Zodiac cruises to shore you’ll need a waterproof jacket and pants (minimum 15,000mm rating). Apart from that, our advice is to take warm, windproof, waterproof clothes that you can easily add or remove in layers. It’s best to take clothing made of wool, silk, and new synthetic fibers, all of which retain heat better than other materials.
We will provide you with an expedition manual, which will include a detailed packing list to make sure you are prepared with everything you’ll need.
What types of plants and animals can I see in Antarctica?
The vegetation at Antarctica consists of around 350 species of mostly lichens, mosses, and algae. Various sea birds, seals, and penguins are often seen in Antarctica such as the Emperor Penguin, Adelie Penguin, Orcas, Humpback whales, Weddell Seals and Leopard seals.
What happens after arrival?
In general we can encourage you to stick around in the area for a few weeks after the expedition. This gives you an excellent opportunity to build deeper connections and brainstorm potential business collaborations with those you met on board. You won’t want to miss the reunions we will organize after the cruise – they are always a ton of fun and a great way to explore yet another beautiful destination – or two!
