A journey to feel the Maldives

Imagine waking up in the middle of the Indian Ocean surrounded by endless shades of blue. Each day brings the thrill of diving among sharks, manta rays and vibrant schools of fish in the channels and thilas of the Central Atolls.

But this journey is more than diving. It is the Nomad Cruise community sharing sunsets, remote islands, a BBQ on a sandbank and a couple of business masterminds on deck — experiencing the ocean in a way most travellers never do.

The boat

Seven nights on the Mosaique

We live aboard the Mosaique, a liveaboard yacht built for diving weeks: a dive platform at the stern, a restaurant and bar lounge on the main deck, sea-breeze suites with balconies on deck two and a sun deck with a jacuzzi on top.

Cabins are twin or double with private bathroom and air conditioning. Shared cabins are twin cabins with one other diver from the group; single cabins give you the whole cabin to yourself.

Good to know

Questions divers ask us

How and when do I pay?

Nothing is due while you apply. Once your application is approved you get a personal link and secure your cabin with a €1,000 deposit per person, paid by card through Stripe. The rest of the cabin price is due 90 days before departure — by 20 December 2026 — and we send you a payment link in good time. Nothing is ever charged automatically.

Why apply first instead of booking?

The boat takes a small group and the diving is in current. We want to make sure everyone on board is a good fit for the conditions and for each other. Applying is free and non-binding.

What certification do I need?

Advanced Open Water or higher, with recent dives. Open Water divers with a lot of experience can apply — tell us about it in the form.

Do I need my own equipment?

Bring your own if you have it. A full set can be rented on board for around €200 for the week; let us know in your application.

What happens after I apply?

You get a confirmation straight away. David reviews your application and gets back to you by email or WhatsApp. If it is a fit, you receive a personal booking link to secure your spot.
